about

The essence and the purpose of music is to understand, transcend, search, and perhaps find a cure for the afflictions of our time, our people, and perhaps ourselves. This song is based on the music of the Mapuche, an Indigenous people from Chile who defied the Spanish colonization for over three hundred years and are still fighting for their rights. The Mapuche shamans are always women.
