about

On Sunday, March 16th, 2003, OI attended a silent candlilight vigil for peace at the reflective pool surrounding Barnett Newman's Broken Obelisk at the Rothko Chapel in Houston, Texas. There were only a handful of people, none of whom seemed to know each other - beautiful silent faces in the dark. After leaving, I went home and wrote this piece.
